Artist Statement
My love for art began when I first saw my mother doodle a lovely grape hyacinth with gentle, delicate strokes. From that very moment, I was captivated and eager to create, using anything at hand that could leave a mark.
I find that my work is deeply inspired by the Old Masters; their masterful use of light and shadow to tell compelling stories, combined with the incredible richness of intricate details, constantly draws me in. I can easily spend hours, completely absorbed, admiring just one painting and discovering new elements each time.
In addition to classical art, I have a great appreciation for illustrations and graphic design. The bold and vibrant use of color in these mediums is something I am especially drawn to and often try to incorporate into my own work. Overall, I would say that my taste in art is quite eclectic—I find beauty and inspiration in many different styles and images, appreciating the unique qualities each has to offer.
